FindaProperty.com launches iPhone app

FindaProperty.com has launched a free iPhone application.

The launch follows the news that The Digital Property Group, FindaProperty.com’s parent company, is to seize control of the management of Globrix following the acquisition of a 50% stake in the portal by TDPG’s parent company, Associated Northcliffe Digital.

The iPhone app features map functionality, enabling users to view sale and rental property by search criteria or by their location, as well as providing directions to the nearest agent, their agent of choice or a selected property. Users can also view floor plans and property images with the app, which stores the previous searches made and properties viewed.

The FindaProperty.com app was designed by Fjord, the company that helped the BBC iPlayer mobile service, coincides with the launch of an iPhone app from Vizzihome, the market share analysis service from Hunters.

The application allows users to search properties by postcode, street name or town or current location using GPS, and enables them to view them according to the length of time on which they have been on the market. The service also offers the ability to identify the owners name and phone number using the Vizzi Phone Book tool. Users need to be a current Vizzihome subscriber to use the service.
