Bairstow Eves Franchising branches into lettings

Bairstow Eves Franchising is expanding with the launch of a lettings operation.

New franchisees will receive a 30-day training programme and, post-launch, have access to back office support, which provides client accounting, property management, gas and electrical safety checks, rent arrears and renewals and tenancy deposits.  

Philip Dobson, managing director of Bairstow Eves Franchising, says: “In the current economic climate, there is a strong demand from agents across the country looking for ways to capitalise on the growing rental market. Successful applicants for our franchise will have the opportunity of trading under the brand both as lettings and estate agents.”

A Bairstow Eves Franchising licence costs £20,000 for businesses to operate as both an estate agent and a letting agent, and £15,000 to operate as a sole lettings franchisee. The fee is negotiable for existing agents, with the royalty fee fixed at 8% for all franchisees.

Bairstow Eves Franchising is the franchising arm of 250 branch-strong Bairstow Eves and was launched in 2000. Both firms are part of Countrywide.
