New software alerts agents to cross-selling opportunities

Eurolink Software has launched a new software feature, designed to alert agents to the cross-selling opportunities possible within each of their client cases.

Called Told & Sold, the software uses a window prompt, which will appear on agents’ computer screens each time they access a client’s file, be it a homeowner, landlord or tenant, to alert them about the revenue-generating services that they can pursue on the back of their primary sale or let.

Services include mortgages, removals, utilities and insurance. Agents can pass referrals on to service providers by clicking on a referral box. This triggers an email containing a client’s contact details, which are then sent to the relevant provider.

Told & Sold is available to clients of Eurolink Software’s Veco product range, which includes the Veco database. This is designed to store all information relating to an agent’s client base, which Told & Sold then analyses to assess all possible cross-selling opportunities on which agents can generate additional income streams.

Nigel Poole, founding director of Eurolink Software, says: “We developed the product because we recognised that in the current economic climate estate agents can and must generate income other than through the traditional routes of sales and letting of property. “Agents need to take advantage of all of these ‘up-sell’ opportunities, which could enable them to generate thousands of pounds of additional income.”
