Vizzihome expands into job market

Vizzihome is breaking into the recruitment market with a free job portal.

Vizzijobs will launch on Monday and offer recruiting agencies and job seekers the ability to advertise and search for free. The only fee-paying service is the ‘spotlight listing’, which works like Rightmove’s premium listing, and costs £10. 

Speaking exclusively to The Negotiator, Will Lownsbrough, Vizzihome’s sales director, says: “It’s not there to make money, rather to add another string to the Vizzihome bow.”

Vizzijobs users can liaise with one another directly and in confidence. The site allows recruiting agencies to specify a location, salary and remit for each advert simply by clicking on the ‘post a job’ button on the homepage.

Similarly, applicants can enter the type of job for which they are looking, plus the location, via the homepage.

Lownsbrough says: “We wanted to offer the most simplistic way of posting vacancies and CVs, plus we didn’t want people to have to use passwords and usernames, or pay vast amounts of money.”

The launch follows that of Propertyjobsdirect.com, the portal launched by Ian Dobrin and offering recruiting firms a web platform on which to profile their business and display their current vacancies for a monthly subscription fee of £50 per month per branch.
