Hunters Personal breaks into Manchester

Hunters Property Group has appointed Carl Crompton as its first personal agent in Manchester.

The former telecoms and technology operations director has bought the franchise for Whitefield and Prestwic and will work alongside Hunters’ existing city centre offices in Deangate.

Crompton (pictured) grew up in Radcliffe, but has lived in Whitefield for more than 20 years and is an active supporter of the Whitefield youth football team, as well as being a keen Bolton Wanderers supporter.

He says: "The move from telecoms to estate agency is not as big as it might seem as both are people businesses. And, after all, people expect, demand and deserve the very best service when you are dealing with their biggest asset – their home."

Hunters managing director Kevin Hollinrake believes there is capacity for up to 50 franchises in Manchester for the Hunters Personal network, which he launched in June 2008 as a work-from-home franchise.
