Knight Frank goes wild with Gloria

Knight Frank has unveiled a new member of the family of a different kind.

Gloria (pictured) is the result of the global agency group's support of the Elephant Family, the charity solely dedicated to ensuring the survival of the Asian elephant.

Gloria, who was hand-painted in vibrant colours by artist Joanna Martin, is now enjoying her new home on the King's Road alongside 249 other life-sized elephants in central London landmark locations as part of the capital's biggest ever public art event.

Nick Thomlinson, senior partner at Knight Frank, says: “The sponsorship initiative is part of our Building Foundations programme which focuses on its role in managing social, economic and environmental issues.

"By helping to sponsor London’s Elephant Parade, we are delighted to support this wonderfully creative project that aims to raise awareness of the Asian elephant’s plight.”

The elephants will be auctioned by Sotheby’s on 30 June, which aims to raise more than £1m, benefiting more than 15 UK conservation charities working in Asia.
