Revealed: The Negotiator Awards 2010 shortlist
Agency firms of all shapes and sizes from across the country have battled their way to The Negotiator 2010 shortlist. Here, we reveal the names we believe epitomise industry excellence.
There are less than three months to the biggest night in the residential agency calender, on which we will be celebrating the achievements of the firms we believe epitomise industry excellence.
It’s taken countless weeks and endless blood, sweat and tears among The Negotiator team to undertake the painstaking task of shortlisting the entries for this year’s prestigious event.
There was a noticeable surge in excellence in this year’s entries, with a vast range of firms from across the country proud to shout about their achievements from the last year.
It is encouraging to see so many new market entrants, which proves that however challenging the housing market becomes, agency remains an attractive profession, which is why it is so important that we continue to work together to raise standards.
Likewise, we have received endless and outstanding examples of agency innovation, which is staggering given the economic climate.
Once again, we have created a special academy comprising 50 of the industry’s leading practitioners to determine the shortlist and overall winner for the Supreme Negotiator Award
The Negotiator Awards, the only industry awards free to enter, are hosted by the leading residential agency magazine, The Negotiator, and aim to identify, reward and celebrate industry excellence and promote best practice.
The event is being held in association with the Digital Property Group for the third consecutive year, with fellow sponsors including Virgin Media, which is the proud sponsor of the Independent Lettings Agency of the Year award, and Endsleigh Let, sponsor of the National Lettings Agency of the Year award.
Web designer The Property Jungle has most recently pledged its support for the event by sponsoring the National Estate Agency Chain of the Year award.
Hosted in the glamorous ballroom at the Hilton Hotel on Park Lane in London on November 10, this year’s event promises to be even bigger and better than the hugely successful ceremonies enjoyed by more than 500 guests in each of the last two years.
Comic genius Rory Bremner kicked off The Negotiator’s inaugural ceremony in 2008, with Paul Zenon, following in his footsteps last year.
Our esteemed judging panel this year includes none other than millionaire entrepreneur and Dragons’ Den star James Caan, as well as industry experts Ivor Dickinson, managing director of Douglas & Gordon, which won the esteemed Supreme Negotiator Award last year, Bill McClintock, chairman at The Property Ombudsman Service, Harry Hill, former chairman of Countrywide, former Connells Residential chief Ken Waller and Miles Shipside, commercial director at Rightmove.
But now, without further ado, read on to discover the shortlisted firms for this year’s event.
