Roberts Newby strikes luxury brands deal
Bucks-based Roberts Newby has struck a deal with an marketing agency, which will see each of its online property tours presented by a blue chip company.
Through a deal with Cream Worldwide, each tour will open with an advert lasting up to 10 seconds and featuring one of a range of corporate clients, including BMW, Bentley, Steinway and Sunseeker.
Speaking exclusively to The Negotiator, Simon Roberts, the agency’s managing director, says the revenue earned through the deal has helped offset the cost of creating Roberts Newby TV, which launches today.
Via the homepage, house hunters can navigate through to the site to view the agency’s property tours in the form of ‘videoettes’ – still images accompanied by an audio description.
Newby says the site is costing tens of thousands of pounds. “Return on investment will be difficult to calculate, but I believe we are going to add another very important tool to our tool box, which helps us win instructions.”
He adds: “We’re not necessarily looking to double our stock at the moment, rather to win good instructions at sensible prices.”
