The PCCB appoints Simply HIP director

Tom Horrocks, legal services director of Simply HIP, has joined The Property Codes Compliance Board.

 

He replaces Mike Ockenden, director general of the Association of Home Information Pack Providers, as a representative of HIP providers.

Horrocks (pictured), who qualified as a solicitor in 1985, was previously chief executive of the Council for Licensed Conveyancers, the regulatory body of the licensed conveyancer profession and is also a member of the AHIPP Legal and Leasehold Working Group.

He says: Having previously worked for a regulatory body, I have a useful blend of knowledge on how regulation is implemented, as well as understanding the issues that HIP providers face."
