Townends appoints new area lettings manager

Townends has appointed Elaine Francis as area lettings manager.

She will have responsibility for three branches, including Croydon, Streatham and South Norwood, which only recently opened a lettings operation as part of the group’s expansion plans.

Francis entered agency in 2000 with a small independent firm in Surrey Quays, South East London, moving on to work for Spicer Mccoll, where she worked her way up to become a lettings manager and thereafter a branch partner.

Francis then moved to become assistant manager for Kinleigh Folkard and Hayward’s Islington office during which time she passed her Association of Residential Letting Agents level one and two qualifications, which led her to open KFH’s first standalone lettings office in Peckham, South East London.
