Zoopla acquires Byteplay

Zoopla is forging ahead with its growth strategy with the acquisition of technology firm Byteplay.

The deal, which was agreed for an undisclosed sum, includes mapping site OnOneMap.com, DotHomes.com and Extate.com.

It also includes propertygazette websites, including bristolpropertygazette.co.uk and coventrypropertygazette.co.uk, which cover every main UK town from Penzance to Perth.
 
The announcement follows an agreement by Countrywide, Connells and LSL Property Services to list all their stock on Zoopla. 

Alex Chesterman, founder and chief exectuive officer of Zoopla.co.uk, says: “Byteplay has a number of interesting assets which will allow us to better serve our member agents and provide even more enquires and greater exposure.”
