Zoopla acquires Thinkproperty
Zoopla.co.uk has snapped up Thinkproperty.com for an undisclosed sum.
The deal comes as Zoopla remains locked in talks about the purchase of Propertyfinder.
As part of the deal, Zoopla will take over the brand and website of Thinkproperty, which was launched by Guardian Media Group in 2006 and now claims to have over 200,000 unique users per month.
Alex Chesterman, founder and chief executive officer of Zoopla.co.uk, says: “We plan to continue to grow our traffic organically and look at possible further acquisitions as part of our commitment to become the most efficient marketing partner for UK estate agents.”
Zoopla.co.uk launched last year and raised around £4m at the start of the year.
