Zoopla recruits SmartNewHomes director

Zoopla has appointed the former sales director of SmartNewHomes.com as head of its new homes division.

Chris Browne has over 20 years' experience in the estate agency and new home developer sectors, of which the last five were spent with SmartNewHomes.com.

Browne's departure from the portal follows that of managing director Dave Bexon.

In his new role, Browne will be responsible for overseeing the continued growth of Zoopla's new homes division and managing its sales team.
