HomeLet launches landlord policy
HomeLet is in the throes of launching a landlord policy that offers buildings and contents insurance, emergency assistance and up to £500,000 worth of buildings cover as standard.
Landlord’s Insurance+ also covers the loss of rent or re-letting costs following a claim, so if something serious happens and the tenant needs to move out, lost rent is covered for up to two years or up to £50,000 to enable the landlord to pay their mortgage.
Other features of the policy include contents insurance for furnished and unfurnished properties; discounts for managed properties; malicious and accidental Damage by tenant upgrade options; and variable excess options, including nil excess.
The launch follows that of HomeLet’s Tenant’s Contents Insurance + policy.
