Hunters Personal expands in Yorkshire
Hunters Property Group has appointed Andy Pearse as its first personal agent in Pontefract.
Pearse (pictured) works currently as an independent financial adviser in the area, and plans to continue to run his firm, Grove Park Finance, alongside his new Hunters role.
He will work alongside Hunters' existing Selby office when he starts with the agency.
Hunters has also opened its first office in Middlesbrough following the acquisition of lettings agency Family Rentals.
Ian Paterson, a partner in Family Rentals, will manage Hunters’ Middlesbrough operations. He says: “We opened the lettings agency in August last year with the intention of moving into sales in due course.
"By joining the Hunters network, we have been able to do this about two years earlier than we expected."
Paterson, who has around 15 years' experience of estate agency, says the new Middlesbrough team will initially include four other members. In addition, two new Hunters Personal home-based agents will be recruited immediately, with further appointments expected over the next 12 months.
