Marsh & Parsons opens new supersize office

Marsh & Parsons has opened its supersize office in Notting Hill.

As The Negotiator revealed on July 24, the West London agency has tripled the size of the office with the purchase of the restaurant next door, resulting in a three-floor premises (pictured) that spans the entire corner of the junction of Pembridge Road and Kensington Park Road in Notting Hill.

Speaking exclusively to The Negotiator, Peter Rollings, managing director of Marsh & Parsons, says the refurbishment, which involved ripping out the restaurant kitchen at the top of the building to make way for firm's corporate services team, came in at just over the £100,000 budget.

As part of Rollings' recruitment drive, 15 new staff started work for agency last week, across both sales and lettings. He has also bought five new Volkswagen Golfs to support his larger workforce.

Meanwhile, 32 of the agency’s top-performing staff are preparing to be whisked away to Copenhagen. The trip is one of two incentive schemes Rollings runs each year, and will involve a range of team-building exercises, such as a treasure hunt by bike.

Rollings says: "It's a good way of meeting people and understanding what makes them tick outside of the work environment. Anyone that thinks you can run a sales team without incentives is not really managing a sales team."
